OUR TRAINING
MSC Ship Management (India) Pvt. Ltd. set up its HRD & Training department to address the issue pertaining to competency & skill enhancement on board our vessels. This is being accomplished by setting up a comprehensive program for the floating staff to undergo training courses at Mumbai during their leave period. Presently some of the reputed Maritime Training institutes in India are being utilized to provide our seafarers the necessary training. The training is aimed at our staff to recognize the operational risks and also effectively carry out regulatory management. This will also assist the staff in on-board loss prevention and better utilisation of resources.
Very Soon, this training will be undertaken at our in-house training centre which will give us the flexibility to conduct the training aimed at specific issues affecting the fleet.
This state-of-the-art Training Centre is a multi-million dollar investment with the latest and most sophisticated Full Mission Bridge and Engine Simulators, Workshops and Training Facilities.
The course fee, travelling arrangements and costs from their hometowns to training institutes and boarding & lodging costs is fully borne by the company. |
